For patients

Hormone care, with a plan you can see.

HOT is a six-month program for perimenopause and menopause that your provider runs with you. If a practice near you offers HOT, this is what to expect.

Your care
Your licensed provider makes every decision.
Your plan
On your phone after every visit.

What to expect.

  1. You enroll through a practice that offers HOT. Your provider decides with you whether the program is right for you.
  2. Before your first visit you answer a short questionnaire on your phone.
  3. Over six months you see your provider on a set schedule. Your provider makes every decision about your care.
  4. After each visit your plan is on your phone: what you are taking, what to watch for, and when you are due back.

What HOT is not.

  • HOT is not a clinic and does not provide medical care. Your provider does.
  • HOT does not prescribe. Your provider does.
  • HOT does not replace a conversation with your provider about whether hormone therapy is right for you.

Find a HOT practice.

HOT is offered through independent practices. Ask your provider whether they offer HOT, or send them this page.
